O’Toole seems happy for Monday’s vote to be a straight-up referendum: It’s either Trudeau driving the bus out of this pandemic, or him
Has O’Toole introduced himself to enough Canadians to run as a Party of One, even against a Liberal leader of whom many Canadians are properly sick?

OTTAWA — Erin O’Toole’s many virtual town hall meetings, which are beamed out from an ice-cold studio in the Ottawa Westin, have featured a good few softball questions. (Many viewers are Conservative-inclined to begin with, obviously.) But Canadians who haven’t tuned in might be surprised how many high hard ones make it through.

Judging by his entertaining rant-cum-question on Monday evening, Clint from British Columbia is fit to be tied by the Conservatives’ spending plans. “What do you think you guys are doing? You print money out of thin air!” he almost hollered. “How are you ever going to pay for that other than (by) taking it out on (our) taxes?”

(The hardcore fiscal conservative voter does find himself in a quandary nowadays.)

“Only the Conservatives will keep taxes low and balance the budget,” O’Toole promised Clint. I suspect Clint was not mollified. I suspect Clint regards O’Toole’s 10-year timeline for balancing the budget as absurd, which it sort of is: The last Conservative prime minister even to hold the job for 10 years was Canada’s first prime minister.

Among the other callers, Angelo was worried about all the intra-party “bashing,” lest Canada wind up as divided as our American neighbours. O’Toole responded that he had “tried to run” a positive campaign “from day one.”

But O’Toole had pitched that out the window earlier in the day in a blistering attack on Trudeau’s character — accusing him of not even being a “public servant,” and suggesting he didn’t “respect” him as a person. O’Toole wasn’t quite as vituperative on Tuesday morning in Russell, Ont., a charming town of 17,000 roughly 40 kilometres south of the Westin. But we can safely expect to keep hearing such attacks from O’Toole in the final days of the campaign.

“The only thing that matters to (Justin Trudeau) is his job,” O’Toole said.

COVID – “never let a good crisis go to waste”. Record number of mail in ballots. Election results will not be known on election day. If the left doesn’t get their hoped for result this time around, they will just fine tune it and make sure it does in future. How our future elections will be conducted is now carved in stone. Take that to the bank.

“In 2019, the Liberals lost the popular vote in a very, very tight race, but they actually won the government because of the distribution, the efficient distribution of seats that they had,” he explained.
Examining the share of seats in the House of Commons the Liberals could win, Nanos said it looks like history is shaping up to repeat itself in 2021.

And what could aid that Liberal victory? Drum roll………Mail-in ballots.

Nanos said if the mail-in votes are not fully tallied on election night, the Liberals should expect a marginally better result once they’re included in the final count.

“Those mail-in ballots are four times more likely to favour the Liberals than the Conservatives,” he said.

So Canadians, we all witnessed what mail-in ballots accomplished in America. ‘V’ for victory. Just what do we think Trudeau has been discussing with Obama and Soros these past years? Hot tubs. Snow boarding? Ethics? Integrity? Just why do you think Trudeau called a massively unpopular election 2 years early and in the middle of a so-called pandemic (mail-in voting)? Easy, because he knew it wouldn’t matter. Lemme tell ya’all something. If by some miracle Trudeau does not win it’ll be a miracle. But if he does win but not a majority they (the axis of evil Trudeau/Obama/Soros) will figure it out and get it done next time around. The fix is in no matter. Who’s going to out them, ‘blowing in the wind’ O’Toole? A liberal light who’s up and down like a whore’s drawers on payday on issues that are really important to Canadians?

While the visual comparison of O’Toole and a whore’s drawers on payday is still fresh in people’s minds….

Want to know why Stephen Harper won three elections (even though two were just won minorities) and Erin O’Toole likely will not win this one?

It’s because, when the liberal establishment — political and media — squawked about some right-of-centre Conservative policy, Harper stood his ground. He ignored the liberal carping and whinging and paid voters the respect of explaining why his ideas would work.

On the other hand, O’Toole cringes, claims he was misunderstood and promises to bring in the very same policies as the Liberals.

A pox on the houses of all of the dumber than dung CPC decision makers who choose this weakling over Max Bernier….

Today O’Toole laments, a vote for the PPC is a vote for the LPC. A whiny invertebrate pretend conservative. I for one am sick of hearing that BS and I’m sick of supposed conservatives professing to be one thing when he knows damned well (proven by his flip flopping) he is anything but.

Think about this. When did a liberal politician ever campaign as a liberal but then once elected turn out to be a conservative. Easy answer, NEVER! That’s the only undisputable difference between the two parties.
