By now it should be obvious that elected state and local officials issuing COVID-19 lockdown and stay-at-home orders are just making things up as they go along.
Too often, their edicts aren’t based on science or data, but on a grotesque understanding of their own authority and infallibility. In the face of a worsening pandemic, they want to be seen doing something, taking bold action to stop the spread of the virus—that is, so long as it doesn’t hurt certain favored special interests.
That’s why Americans living under arbitrary and unconstitutional lockdown orders should simply ignore them, en masse, as an act of civil disobedience.
How else are ordinary people to push back against the capricious rules of politicians like Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti? On November 25, the day before Thanksgiving, Garcetti and county health officials banned outdoor dining at bars and restaurants for three weeks. Because of the spread of the virus, they said, it’s just too dangerous, so we all have to do our part and make sacrifices.
But then they gave a carve-out for certain kinds of outdoor dining, like film and television crew’s catering sites. In Garcetti’s town, a massive film crew eating outside is safe but a small restaurant or bar with outdoor, socially distanced seating is too dangerous to remain open. Got it?
Then last week, L.A. County Superior Court Judge James Chalfant called out the mayor and county health officials on this arbitrary exercise of power, ordering them to produce scientific evidence to justify the outdoor dining ban. “You have to do a risk-benefit analysis for public health. You don’t just talk about the risk of spreading disease. You have to talk about the benefit of keeping restaurants open,” Chalfant said.

A recent poll in soon to become Trudeau designed and executed have not Alberta revealed that 35% of those polled said that they intended to ignore the government’s Christmas eraser. Ha… 35% my ass. 35% is only the ones willing to tell a stranger on the telephone their personal family business instead of telling them that it’s none of their business. I say double the % or more are choosing Merry Christmas. I’m leaning heavily towards even more. The same goes for Manitoba under the biggest COVID response screwup imaginable and shared between health care and politics. Increasing each day Canadians have f’ing had it with these stuck on stupid clowns.
Know this. Once Trudeau completes his destruction of the Alberta energy industry, aka the piggy bank that bank rolls the rest of the country (and Quebec especially had better start paying damn attention) it’ll be all downhill despite of never ending tax increases to fill the gap. Alberta energy money funding for national security, health care, policing, welfare you name it… poof gone. The Alberta ATM that for decades has been there faithfully for Canada will read ‘insufficient funds’.
Know something else. Trudeau is now hinting at if not outright advocating mail in voting should an election be called in Canada during COVID. Why wouldn’t he? Trudeau admires both Soros and Obama, let alone China. All three have collaborated (more and more evidence coming to light) and successfully stolen the American election. Just a question. Has a car trunk, van, or semi load of ‘just found’ ballots ever been delivered to a polling station hours, days or weeks after the election day all marked for the American conservative candidate? Mail in voting is a win win for the left.
Trudeau is the leader of the French Nation of Quebec mortician preparing the despised English western Canadian Alberta body for burial. A long held dream by his own admission. Low information Canadians have no clue of what is to come once the body is buried. No? September poll – Canadians generally had a favorable impression of the government, with 46 percent in approval versus 37 percent who disapproved.
