April 3, 2024

From my hospital bed on my IPad. I’ve been goofing off long enough. An abdominal aneurism dammed near killed me back in September but a special team assembled at Sunnybrook hospital in Toronto, after 12 hours of surgery, saved my life and I’m now recovering in the Sunnybrook Veterans Care facility. This coming Tuesday I am going to be tested to see if I’m strong enough to walk.

To that end I have been working out in the gym to build up my legs, arms and walking on the parallel bar platform with sole intent of escaping this place and going home for good. I also lost my wife on August 18th, 2022 and Sue is sorely missed by all. The kids help to keep me on track and to keep me occupied they are in the process of getting me a used laptop that I can sit at and work with to keep the site updated (daily if possible).

I’m looking forward to that.

To all, wish me well and keep your eye on JNW as the changes continue.
